UNFICYP Press Statement - Troulli Road Works
UNFICYP received a notice from the District Officer in Larnaka informing about his wish to undertake work within the UN-patrolled buffer zone on the road from Troulli to Advellero.
After giving careful consideration to this notice, UNFICYP has given its consent for carrying out of these works.
UNFICYP takes this opportunity to remind local authorities and all persons living and or working within the buffer zone of the need to adhere to the established procedures for civilian use of the buffer zone, as agreed to between UNFICYP and the Government of Cyprus.
