On 21 September, Slovak peacekeepers assembled in Camp of General Stefanik in Famagusta to mark International Day of Peace. 

At the ceremony, First Lieutenant Mário Hnát read a message from UNFICY’s Force Commander, Major General Ingrid Gjerde to the contingent to address this year’s theme for the campaign: End racism. Build peace.
